Tank Carradine took on 60 snaps on Thursday
by Dave Richard | Senior Fantasy Writer

Second-year defensive lineman Tank Carradine played the second-most snaps of any 49ers defender on Thursday against the Ravens, getting in on 60 plays. According to the San Jose Mercury News, that was three times as many as he was expecting

Carradine didn't play at all last season as he recovered from a torn ACL suffered while in college. He figures to be an important cog on the D-line given the team's injuries racked up already this summer.

Tank Carradine had knee procedure
by Larry Hartstein | CBSSports.com

49ers coach Jim Harbaugh said defensive end Cornellius Carradine underwent a procedure to remove a mass of scar tissue from his surgically repaired knee, reports the Sacramento Bee.

"He wasn't able to straighten out his leg before that," Harbaugh said, per the paper. "Then they took that out and his leg went straight. He looks like a different guy now, since that procedure. Just what we saw when he did practice with our football team and now this procedure that's been done, I'm even more excited. I think he's going to have a great offseason and look forward to his progress very, very much."

Harbaugh expects Carradine to be ready for the offseason program, which starts April 21.
