Brown is no better than a late-round flier as a reserve with upside in IDP drafts. Sure, he might be a solid tackler and provide other totals, but he'll be playing in a 3-4 defense for the first time in his career and doesn't have a starting job locked up.

S Mike Brown signed with the Chiefs, according to the Kansas City Star. Brown, who was released by the Bears after he missed 44 games over the last five season because of injuries, visited the Chiefs earlier this month. Brown made 15 starts in 2008 and had 101 tackles, the third-highest total in his career and the most since 2002. The Chiefs have addressed multiple defensive positions in the offseason but didn't land a safety in the 2009 draft.
