| DE Darren Howard was released Thursday, the Eagles announced."Darren Howard has been one of our most productive and versatile members of our defense in the last couple of years," coach Andy Reid said in a statement. "He is nothing but a solid player, leader and person on and off the field." Howard had 22.5 sacks and 122 tackles in his four seasons with the Eagles.
