  • Falcons drop backup Redman: The Falcons released quarterback Chris Redman on Tuesday and replaced him on the roster with Luke McCown, the team announced. McCown was waived by the Saints on Monday and will serve as the backup quarterback to starter Matt Ryan to begin the upcoming season.
