Clinton-Dix finished the 2016 season with 80 tackles, including 0.5 sacks, and seven passes defensed, including five interceptions, in 16 games played.
In his third season, Clinton-Dix was arguably the Packers best and most consistent defender. He played in 99.9 percent of the team's defensive snaps and was named a second-team all pro. The Packers' defense struggled on the year but Clinton-Dix was one of the few bright spots. Look for him to be a key contributor for Green Bay once again in 2017.
Clinton-Dix made five tackles (three solo) and intercepted two passes in Sunday's victory over the Bears.
Clinton-Dix will almost certainly finish 2016 with the lowest tackle total of his career, but he has shown an improved nose for the ball, particularly of late, intercepting five passes over his last seven games after notching just three picks over the first 39 games of his career.
The safety only missed one defensive play on Monday night while snagging his third interception of the season. Clinton-Dix, along with the entire
Clinton-Dix tallied three tackles (one solo), two interceptions, and 0.5 sacks in Sunday's loss to the Colts.
Clinton-Dix had not made much of an impact in leagues that use IDPs prior to Week 9, but he made his first mark in both the sack and interception departments against the Colts, and the two picks also gave him his first pass deflections since Week 1. While the two interceptions match Clinton-Dix's career-high total for a full season, his tackle totals have slipped markedly this year, as he is on pace for 70 stops -- well below the 94 he posted in his rookie year and the even 100 he notched in 2015.
Clinton-Dix recorded seven tackles (six solo) in Sunday's loss to the Cowboys.
Clinton-Dix is picking up the pace in the tackle department, averaging 6.5 stops over the last two games after putting up just 4.3 tackles per game through the season's first three weeks. However, he is still looking for his first interception and sack on the season and has not deflected a pass since Week 1. Clinton-Dix should continue having ample opportunities to make plays moving forward, having been on the field for every defensive snap so far this season.
