Sowell has been sidelined the previous three games with a knee injury but appears to be trending toward a return for Sunday's matchup with Eagles.
Sowell (knee) has officially been ruled inactive for Monday's matchup with the Bills.
This was more of a formality, as head coach Pete Carroll stated earlier in the week that Sowell is not ready to go yet. The 27-year-old has been out of action since Week 7 due to a sprained MCL. J'Marcus Webb will presumably continue filling in for the left tackle. Sowell was able to practice on a limited basis during the week, so a return in Week 10 is not out of the picture.
Sowell (knee) is listed as questionable on Saturday's injury report, but head coach Pete Carroll claimed that he is not ready to go yet and will be out for Week 9, Liz Mathews of ESPN reports.
Sowell has been out since Week 7 with a sprained MCL and will cede another start at left tackle to backup J'Marcus Webb. The good news is that Sowell was limited in practice all week, hinting that he may be close to returning as soon as next Sunday against the Patriots.
Sowell (knee) returned to practice Thursday in a limited role.
Sowell was sidelined at practice last week before being ruled questionable for Sunday's loss to the Saints. He ultimately ended up not playing, and had been absent from this week's practices until returning Thursday. It remains to be seen if he will be able to play Monday against the Bills. Rookie George Fant would presumably fill in for Sowell again if he is unable to play.
