Adams is out for the season, leaving the Texans to fill a void in the offensive line at left guard.
Bill O'Brien has announced that
"I feel for the guy," O'Brien said. "The guy really put a lot of effort into this season. He was here all offseason, really improved as a player and those things happen. Those injuries happen.”
Adams was carted off the field during the second quarter of the Sunday game against Carolina and did not return.
The Houston Chronicle indicates the knee injury is serious enough for Adams to be out for the season.
He said he needs to use his hands better and "improve against the bull rush." Adams has a tackle's frame, but is being asked to play guard because Xavier Su'a-Filo is dealing with an ankle injury.
Brown also missed practice Wednesday. The 30-year-old tackle wore a cast on his hand during Week 1 to protect his injured thumb and he was able to play the entire game. If he doesn't play Sunday,
