Bills announce Week 8 inactives vs. Jets

The Bills have listed the following players as inactive for Sunday's Week 8 matchup with the Jets: running back Fred Jackson (groin), wide receivers Marquise Goodwin (hamstring) and Marcus Easley (knee), linebacker Ty Powell (ankle), cornerback Ross Cockrell, running back Phillip Tanner and offensive lineman Cyrus Kouandjio.

Jackson and Powell were both already ruled out for the game, while Goodwin was doubtful to play. Easley is inactive after being listed as questionable, but the team's other questionable player, safety Aaron Williams (neck), is active for the game. Wide receiver Sammy Watkins (groin), defensive end Mario Williams (thumb) and cornerback Ron Brooks (groin) are also active after being listed as probable to play against the Jets.

As expected, the Bills have officially ruled Fred Jackson (groin) and Ty Powell (ankle) out for Week 8 against the Jets, the team announced.

Marquise Goodwin (hamstring) was the only player listed as doubtful on the final injury report on Friday. Marcus Easley (knee) and Aaron Williams (neck) were labeled as questionable for Sunday.

Meanwhile, Ron Brooks (groin), Brandon Spikes (ribs), Sammy Watkins (groin) and Mario Williams (thumb) were all deemed probable.

The Bills have ruled out wide receivers Marcus Easley (knee) and Marquise Goodwin (hamstring) for their Week 7 battle against the visiting Vikings. Also out is linebacker Ty Powell (ankle).

The team is otherwise healthy - the rest of those on its injury report Friday are probable. They are long snapper Garrison Sanborn (knee), safeties Aaron Williams (wrist/neck) and Da'Norris Searcy (knee), linebacker Brandon Spikes (ribs) and defensive tackle Kyle Williams (knee).
