Titans reveal Week 17 inactives

The Titans declared quarterback Zach Mettenberger (shoulder), defensive back Jemea Thomas, linebacker Dontay Moch, offensive tackles Taylor Lewan (ankle) and Terren Jones (concussion), wideout Rico Richardson and defensive end Ropati Pitoitua inactive for Sunday's game against the Colts.

Quarterback Charlie Whitehurst will make his second straight start.

Zaviar Gooden only probable on Titans' Week 17 injury report

Titans linebacker Zaviar Gooden (hamstring) was the only player on Tennessee's final injury report listed as probable for Sunday's season finale against the Colts.

Defensive tackle Sammie Lee Hill (foot), tackle Terren Jones (concussion) tackle Byron Stingily (ankle), linebacker Kamerion Wimbley (hamstring), tackle Taylor Lewan (ankle) and quarterback Zach Mettenberger (shoulder) were labeled as questionable.

According to the Tennessean, Lewan and Mettenberger aren't expected to play. Coach Ken Whisenhunt did not rule out the possibility of dressing Mettenberger as an emergency option.

Titans list inactives for Week 16

The Titans have listed QB Zach Mettenberger, DB Jemea Thomas, LB Zaviar Gooden, LB Dontay Moch, OT Terren Jones, OT Taylor Lewan and DL Mike Martin as inactive Week 16 against the Jaguars.

Both Mettenberger and Lewan were listed as doubtful heading into the contest. Neither was expected to take the field. Gooden was listed as questionable due to a hamstring injury. The other four players listed are healthy scratches.

Titans add OT Terren Jones

The Titans signed offensive tackle Terren Jones off the Ravens' practice squad, reports the Baltimore Sun. He takes the roster spot vacated by wideout Justin Hunter, who was placed on IR.

Redskins activate Hankerson, waive Minnifield and release Jones

The Redskins announced Tuesday wide receiver Leonard Hankerson has been removed from the physically unable to perform list and added to the 53-man roster.

To make room for Hankerson, the team waived cornerback Chase Minnifield and released tackle Terren Jones from the practice squad.

Hankerson is coming back after tearing his ACL and LCL in November 2013. Prior to the injury, he had 30 catches for 375 yards and three touchdowns through 10 games.
