Jones will not require surgery, but, "it will take a little bit of time" for him to return from the knee injury he suffered in Sunday's loss to the Chiefs, according to head coach Mike McDaniel, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. Jones could benefit from the team's Week 10 bye, but it's unclear how likely he could return for Week 11 against the Raiders. Jones' agent Drew Rosenhaus noted Tuesday that he expects his client, who is recovering from an MCL sprain, to be back in 4-to-6 weeks, Josh Moser of WSVN-TV reports. Jones was placed on injured reserve Wednesday after he sustained a sprained MCL during the Dolphins' preseason game against the Texans on Aug. 19. Jones sustained a sprained MCL during Saturday's preseason game against the Texans and is expected to miss four to six weeks but isn't expected to undergo surgery, Josh Moser of WSVN reports. Jones was competing for a starting job on the Dolphins' offensive line during training camp and the preseason.
