An undrafted free agent in 2013, Addae has developed into a serviceable starting safety, recording at least 50 tackles in each of the last two seasons. Known as one of the hardest-hitting safeties in the league, Addae's aggressive nature has landed him on the injury report in each of the last three seasons, causing him to miss 16 of the 48 games over that stretch,. Addae tallied eight tackles in Sunday's loss to the Raiders.
Addae has made a name for himself since returning from a collarbone injury in Week 12, totaling 32 tackles in the last four weeks. In what's expected to be a gritty game against the Browns next week, Addae figures to be an attractive option for IDP owners.
Addae racked up 10 tackles (eight solo) in the loss to the Buccaneers on Sunday.
Addae has totaled 18 tackles in the two games since returning from a collarbone injury that kept him out for the majority of the season. Known as a run-stuffing safety, Addae could be a decent IDP player in deeper leagues now that he is fully healthy.
After fracturing his collarbone in Week 2 and missing the subsequent eight games, Addae appears to be ready to take the field Sunday. Adrian Phillips and Dexter McCoil, who each took turns in the strong safety role following Addae's injury, will likely transition to heavier special teams roles with the
