Byrd picked of Mike Glennon and returned it 19 yards before being taken down. He added four tackles -- three solo -- in the game.
Byrd now has 36 tackles and four interceptions in just eight games this season.
The Bills held the Buccaneers to just 246 yards of total offense, 80 of which came on the second play of the game. They held Tampa Bay to just 81 yards in the passing game, but Mike Glennon still managed to toss a pair of touchdowns in addition to his two interceptions.
The Bills were mostly hurt by big plays Sunday, and managed to make too few of their own as a DST unit, finishing with two interceptions and only one sack. They should have an easier time of things in Week 15, however, as the Jaguars come up on the schedule.
Fantasy owners have gotten good use out of the
It could behoove Fantasy owners to keep the Bills DST active Week 14 as a matchup with the Bucs looms. DSTs are averaging 11.8 Fantasy points per week against Tampa Bay, which is the seventh-highest average. The last two weeks, DSTs have averaged 15.5 points.
Coming out of the bye, the Bills did surrender 34 points and 423 yards in a Week 13 loss vs. Atlanta. However, heading into the bye they didn't allow an opponent to score more than 23 points or total more than 300 yards in three straight games.
Week 14 presents a good time for the Buffalo defense to bounce back after a rough outing, so consider the Bills a viable low-end No. 1 DST.
