Jets' Quincy Enunwa: Promoted to No. 2 role
by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com

Enunwa will serve as the Jets' No. 2 wide receiver while Eric Decker (shoulder) is sidelined, ESPN.com reports.

Enunwa's promotion to New York's second receiving role comes after he's already posted 17 catches on 25 targets for 183 yards and a touchdown through the team's first three games. Such production, and the fact that he led the Jets with 11 targets last week, makes Enunwa someone whose stock could continue to climb in Decker's absence, especially if Brandon Marshall, who dealt with a knee injury earlier, is slowed. Furthermore, if Decker's week-to-week ailment ultimately requires surgery, Enunwa could be in store for an extended uptick in production.

Jets' Quincy Enunwa: Leads Jets in targets
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Enunwa had four catches on a team-high 11 targets for 37 yards during Sunday's 24-3 loss to the Chiefs.

While the number of targets for Enunwa is certainly encouraging, only four receptions is a disappointment. Quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick was downright awful Sunday, as he was picked off six times, including five in the second half, giving the Jets' receivers little to work with for fantasy purposes. Top wideout Brandon Marshall came in with knee and foot injuries, though he still had 10 targets, while Eric Decker was limited to just six, showing that Fitzpatrick is getting more comfortable throwing to Enunwa. Unfortunately, the upcoming schedule is very tough, with the Jets hosting the Seahawks in Week 4 before traveling to face the Steelers and Cardinals.

Jets' Quincy Enunwa: Full participant Friday
by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com

Enunwa (ribs) was a full participant in Friday's practice and could stand to benefit if teammate Brandon Marshall (knee) misses Sunday's game against the Chiefs, The Star-Ledger reports.

Enunwa has impressed through the Jets' first two games of the season, totaling 13 receptions on 14 targets for 146 yards and a touchdown. In the absence of a recognizable tight end, his role as the Jets' No. 3 wideout is increasingly useful in fantasy leagues, and Enunwa could be featured even more heavily if Marshall is unable to play Sunday. In any event, Enunwa's full practice Friday suggests his injury poses little concern regardless of his role this weekend.

Jets' Quincy Enunwa: Plays through rib injury
by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com

Enunwa had six catches on six targets for 92 yards during Thursday's win over the Bills, and while he left briefly in the third quarter due to a rib injury, he was able to return.

Enunwa leads the Jets with 13 receptions through two games, and with Brandon Marshall possibly being held out in Week 3 against the Chiefs, Enunwa could be even busier.

Jets' Quincy Enunwa: Questionable to return Thursday
by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com

Enunwa is questionable to return to Thursday's game against the Bills due to a rib injury.

Enunwa sustained the injury late in the third quarter. He had been Ryan Fitzpatrick's primary target in the first half, but had been relatively quiet in the third quarter before heading back to the locker room. The second-year receiver had recorded 92 yards on six receptions before leaving. Expect an update when his status is clarified.
