Cardinals' Rashard Lawrence: Undergoes surgery
Arizona coach Kliff Kingsbury said that Lawrence underwent hand surgery that will force him to miss some time, Tyler Drake of ArizonaSports.com reports. Lawrence suffered a hand injury during Sunday's loss to the Rams, and this issue apparently required a follow-up procedure Monday. The third-year defensive lineman recorded four tackles while playing 74 defensive snaps over the Cardinals' first three games. With Lawrence now sidelined for an unspecified period of time, Leki Fotu, who has tallied four tackles over 69 defensive snaps and 19 special-teams snaps this season, will serve as the Cardinals' primary nose tackle.... Cardinals' Rashard Lawrence: Suffers hand injury
Lawrence is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Rams due to a hand injury, Tyler Drake of ArizonaSports.com reports. Lawrence has been a part-time player along Arizona's defensive line to this point in the season. He did not manage a tackle prior to exiting Sunday's game, and Leki Fotu should see an expanded role so long as Lawrence is sidelined.... See More ... See Less -
Cardinals' Rashard Lawrence: Ruled out
Lawrence (calf) will remain sidelined for Sunday's matchup with the 49ers, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports. Lawrence has been sidelined since injuring his calf during a Week 6 game versus the Browns. While he logged a limited workload at Wednesday's practice, he was a non-participant for consecutive days to close out the week. His absence figures to continue creating extra opportunity for Michael Dogbe on the defensive line.... See More ... See Less -
Cardinals' Rashard Lawrence: Won't make it back Sunday
Lawrence is out of Sunday's game against Cleveland with a calf injury, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports. Lawrence's departure leaves the Cardinals without a true nose tackle, as Corey Peters is on the COVID list. Michael Dogbe or Jonathan Ledbetter might fill in while Lawrence is out.... See More ... Cardinals' Rashard Lawrence: Good to go
Lawrence (calf) will be available for Sunday's Week 14 matchup with the Giants, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports. Lawrence was left off the Cardinals' final injury report after being a full participant at Friday's practice. Barring any setbacks, he looks on track to take on his usual role providing depth on the defensive line.... See More ... See Less -
Cardinals' Rashard Lawrence: Returns from IR
Lawrence (calf) was activated from injured reserve Tuesday, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports. The 32-year-old has been sidelined since Week 5 due to the calf injury, but he's back on the active roster for the final five games of the season. Lawrence should fill a rotational role on the defensive line for Arizona.... See More ... See Less -
Cardinals' Rashard Lawrence: Doubtful to return Week 12
Coach Kliff Kingsbury said Wednesday that Lawrence (calf) doesn't have as good a chance to come off IR this week as Zach Allen (ankle), Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports. The Cardinals designated Lawrence for return to practice Nov. 11, but it looks like his next chance to earn full activation from IR will come Dec. 6 against the Rams. When available, Lawrence stands to provide depth along the interior defensive line.... See More ... See Less -
Cardinals' Rashard Lawrence: Back at practice
The Cardinals designated Lawrence (calf) for a return from injured reserve Wednesday. Lawrence returned to practice Wednesday for the first time since suffering the injury in Week 5's game against the Jets. Cardinals' Rashard Lawrence: Sustains calf injury
Lawrence suffered a calf injury during Sunday's win over the Jets, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports. The rookie fourth-rounder out of LSU has maintained a consistent role on defense, operating as the No. 2 nose tackle behind Corey Peters. He's in danger of missing time due to the soft-tissue nature of his injury, but Thursday's practice status should reveal more about the severity of his issue.... See More ... See Less
