Dolphins sign Allen to extension: The Dolphins on Tuesday extended the contract of CB Will Allen, one of the team's starting cornerbacks the past three seasons. The South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports Drew Rosenhaus, Allen's agent, said Allen and the Dolphins have agreed to a two-year extension worth $16.2 million over the next three seasons. The contract includes $10 million in guaranteed money.

CB Will Allen has agreed to a two-year contract extension with the Dolphins, according to The Miami Herald. Allen was scheduled to become a free agent after the 2009 season. The paper reported his three-year deal is worth $16.2 million, with $10 million guaranteed. ''It's a no-brainer,'' agent Drew Rosenhaus told The Herald. ``We're happy to sign him to the extension. It was a real pleasure working with Bill Parcells and Jeff Ireland over the past few weeks to get it done, too.'' 52/6/2009
