Scaife, Crumpler have company: The Titans drafted TE Jared Cook from South Carolina in the third round of the NFL Draft at pick No. 89 overall. Cook is a physical specimen at 6-foot-5, 246 pounds. Cook ran the 40-yard-dash in 4.49 seconds, his vertical jump was 41 inches and he lifted 225 pounds 23 times on the bench. In 2008, Cook started 11 games and ranked second on the team with 37 receptions for 573 yards (15.5 avg) and three touchdowns.

Fantasy Analysis

The Titans used the franchise tag on Bo Scaife this offseason, so drafting Cook could be a sign they will eventually move on from Scaife as the starter. Still, Scaife is the best TE on the roster for the Titans and should be considered a No. 2 Fantasy option. Alge Crumpler struggled last season with Tennessee and should not be drafted in any leagues this year.
