  • Westbrook calls it a career: Veteran running back Brian Westbrook will officially retire as a member of the Eagles on Wednesday, the franchise he shined with for eight seasons. Westbrook excelled with Philadelphia from 2002-09, becoming the franchise leader with 9,785 total yards from scrimmage. He also ranks second in yards rushing (5,995), and third in receptions (426) and total touchdowns (68).

    Fantasy Analysis
    Westbrook, a third-round selection out of Villanova in 2002, also established the all-time record in NCAA Division I-AA with 9,885 all-purpose yards. But his effectiveness plummeted quickly and he last played in the NFL during the 2010 season with San Francisco. Westbrook was one of the all-time Fantasy football greats, but should be left untouched in all formats as he enters into retirement.
