| Shockey kills retirement talk: A day after head coach Ron Rivera suggested that Jeremy Shockey might retire, the Panthers tight end posted on Twitter that it's not going to happen. Apparently Tweeting from Rio, Shockey wrote, "Why is everyone talking about retirement?? Football season is in sep right" (Updated 02/24/2012) |

| Shockey caught 37 passes for 455 yards and four touchdowns and missed only one game to injury. He isn't a huge part of what the Panthers do and could be fairly easy to replace. Fantasy owners aren't looking for him in standard drafts this summer anyway. (Updated 02/24/2012). |
