Fantasy Analysis
Harris is an elite LB in all Fantasy IDP formats, while Pace and Scott have solid value in deeper formats. Ellis and Leonhard are barely worth owning in deeper leagues, while Pouha, Douglas, Green and Thomas are non-factors. All of these guys should be benched in Week 9 as the Jets are on a bye. (Updated 11/01/2009).
LB Bart Scott said the bye week "is a good time to reflect and see where you're at. Do some self-scouting and see where you can be better." So what did Scott discover? Well, nothing, really. "The coaches reflect," he said. "I rested. The coaches don't take hits. The coaches aren't swollen. ... The players are (banged-up). (The coaches) can do all the research. My job is to rest. When I break, I break." 1//9/2009
The Jets have bolstered their defense in a big way, signing former Ravens linebacker Bart Scott to a six-year, $48 million deal. 02/27/2009
New York Jets wide wide receivers Jerricho Cotchery, David Clowney and Brad Smith are listed as questionable but expected to play against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday.
