Gaffney signs with Broncos: The Broncos announced Saturday that they signed free-agent WR Jabar Gaffney to a four-year deal worth $10 million. Gaffney will be reunited with former Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels who is now the Denver head coach. Gaffney had 468 yards on 38 catches (12.3 avg.) with two touchdowns.

Fantasy Analysis

Gaffney will help teach McDaniels' offense to the rest of the receiving corps, but he won't fit in as anything more than a No. 3 or 4 receiver with the club. He might even wind up reprising the role he had with the Pats while Brandon Marshall works as the No. 1 outside receiver and Eddie Royal as the inside slot man. Expect minimal production from Gaffney, probably similar to what he had in 2008. Fantasy owners should pass on him in all but the deepest of leagues.
