Clark expects bigger role: The Indianapolis Star reports that Colts receivers Roy Hall and Pierre Garcon are already in a competition for the No. 3 WR job in the offense. They have combined for zero touchdowns in their short careers. Rookie Austin Collie is also in the mix. "Every one of those guys, I've told them, 'There's a receiver's spot open right now,'" QB Peyton Manning said last week. Manning went on to add that Reggie Wayne, Dallas Clark and Anthony Gonzalez are clearly the top receivers in this offense now that Marvin Harrison has been released.

Fantasy Analysis

Clark has improved almost every year he's been in the league, and this year he should take the biggest leap as a top Fantasy TE. We like him at No. 1 on our rank list with Harrison now gone. He will see some reps in what would normally be a WR role, which adds to his value, and he's worth drafting around Round 4 or 5 in all leagues.

TE Dallas Clark doesn't expect many changes to the Colts' offensive philosophy with Jim Caldwell now the head coach and Clyde Christensen calling plays. "Clyde is a great man, great coach. He was the offensive coordinator down in Tampa when they were down there, so it's something he's done before and is comfortable with," Clark said. "He's a great replacement (for Tom Moore), he knows the system and he knows the personnel. He's had some time and been able to watch the team and how it works and I think he'll fit in really well." 52/8/2009
