  • Romo tosses two TDs in season finale: Cowboys QB Tony Romo, who entered Sunday with a hand injury, played his final game of the 2011 season in Week 17 against the Giants. He completed 29 of 37 passes for 289 yards with two touchdowns and an interception in the 31-14 loss. He hooked up with WR Laurent Robinson on a 34-yard scoring strike in the third quarter before getting picked off by DB Antrel Rolle. Then in the fourth, he found Robinson again, this time from 6 yards out. Romo, who also gained 3 yards on two carries, posted a 106 passer rating in the defeat. “It didn’t look like it affected him in any way,” coach Jason Garrett said of Romo's hand. “He didn’t take a lot of snaps coming into the game, but that wasn’t really an issue in the game.”

    Fantasy Analysis
    The Cowboys needed a win on Sunday to make it to the playoffs but unfortunately, Romo and Co. could not get the job done. Still, he played well through his hand injury and posted some solid stats this season. He threw for over 4,000 yards with a 31-to-10 touchdown-to-interception ratio, and also had a score on the ground. Dallas has a ton of talent at their skill positions so the 31-year-old should be in for another productive campaign in 2012. Consider Romo a No. 1 Fantasy QB on Draft Day.
