Caldwell not worried about Addai: According to the team web site, Colts coach Jim Caldwell said RB Joseph Addai could take some time in his recovery from offseason knee surgery. "I think you'll see him come along and develop," Caldwell said. "He's going through a process right now of getting things back to where he feels good and comfortable. He had a few things (cleaned) up here and there, but overall, you're going to see: Joe's going to have a fine year."

Fantasy Analysis

This is good news for Addai, who is going to have to hold off rookie Donald Brown, who is reportedly having a good OTA session. We still think Addai is worth drafting as a low-end No. 2 Fantasy option, but he has to prove during training camp he's 100 percent. He'll lose carries to Brown during the season, but Addai still has value if he's OK with his knee.

RB Joseph Addai admitted recently that he had arthroscopic surgery on one of his knees (he didn't specify which one) in the offseason. "Got it cleaned out," he said. "It's feeling good right now." Addai got his NFL career off to a strong start, helping to lead the Colts to a Super Bowl title as a rookie in 2006. But injuries, albeit nothing major, have slowed his effectiveness over the last two seasons. He expects that to change this year. So does Indianapolis coach Jim Caldwell. "He's working through a bit of a rehab situation, but he's in fine physical condition," Caldwell said of Addai. "He's been lifting, doing all the things that have been required of him." 61/8/2009
