Folk goes through rehab: The Dallas Morning News reports Cowboys kicker Nick Folk continues to rehab from hip surgery. The next step of Folk's rehab will come Monday when he begins kicking a volleyball. Folk will move from a volleyball to a soccer ball to kicking off a tee before his full return in training camp. "Feels awesome," Folk said. "I can't complain. It's more tired than anything else. It's not like it's sore, just tired."

We expect Folk to be ready for training camp. If he comes back at 100 percent he remains a No. 1 kicker in all leagues. Hopefully he won't suffer a setback during his rehab process.

PK Nick Folk underwent surgery Tuesday to repair a torn labrum in his right hip. He is expected resume light kicking in eight weeks and be ready for training camp in July. Folk suffered the injury late last season and decided to have surgery once the injury failed to improve with rest in the offseason. News of Folk's injury now crystallizes the team's seemingly questionable decision to draft kicker David Buehler in the fifth round. Buehler will take pressure off of Folk by being the primary kickoff guy with Folk handling field goals. And he becomes insurance in case Folk continues to have problems with the hip. 57//2009
