Norwood to get Wildcat carries: According to the official team web site, Falcons RB Jerious Norwood will be more involved in the offense this year. The Falcons are considering using Norwood as the QB in their version of the Wildcat. "We have a plan every week that involves Jerious," offensive coordinator Mike Mularkey said. "We have a plan for every guy. Really, situations dictate whether those plans or plays get called. A lot of it is based on down, distance, field position, score… If those things evolve to get them. I think sometimes people believe we don’t use him enough but he has some plays."

Fantasy Analysis

Norwood had 2,138 yards last season (rushing, receiving and returns). It would be nice if those were all on offense. With Michael Turner the No. 1 RB for the Falcons, Norwood will only get spot duty, including the Wildcat. But Turner is coming off a year where he went over the 370 carry plateau, which is a concern and could lead to a breakdown this season. Plan on drafting Norwood in all leagues as a No. 4 Fantasy RB, and he should be a handcuff option for Turner.
