Tweaked calf sidelines WR Parrish: The official team Web site reports Bills WR/PR Roscoe Parrish tweaked his right calf in a minicamp on Tuesday while catching punts. He emerged from the locker room with the calf wrapped with an ice pack, but he says he'll be fine. The injury does not appear to be serious.

Fantasy Analysis

Parrish has been the subject of trade rumors this offseason but remains with the Bills and is being counted on to have a strong season after some mediocre years in the NFL. Unless you get points for punt return yards, Parrish shouldn't be considered with a pick in Fantasy drafts.

WR Roscoe Parrish wants more of an opportunity to show his skills as a wide receiver. That's unlikely for a team with a pecking order clearly established at the position. Parrish can be a phenomenal punt returner, but even that spot isn't certain. "It's a tough situation for me," Parrish said recently during a break in voluntary organized team activities. Despite being the NFL's two-time defending punt return champion, averaging nearly 16.0 yards per return the last two seasons, Parrish was on the trading block in the days leading up to the draft. Buffalo's front office is still testing the trade waters for the former University of Miami star but has wisely been reluctant to deal such a special teams weapon for what likely won't return more than a late-round future draft pick. 64//2009
