Woodson ready to fight for job: The Daily News reports Giants QB Andre Woodson is ready for the competition for the No. 3 spot with rookie Rhett Bomar, who was drafted in the fifth round of the NFL Draft. "I know this is the NFL and you've got to compete for your spot," Woodson said Monday. "So that's what I'm doing." Woodson did well at the team's recent mini-camp in which he impressed Tom Coughlin by "(taking) more charge of the drills" and showing some progress from his sometimes shaky rookie year. He also showed off a new body, down 22 pounds from the 242 he weighed when he arrived last spring, and promised - on the orders of the coaching staff - to drop another five.

Fantasy Analysis
Woodson spent last year on the practice squad but will find it tough to beat out Bomar to be the No. 3 guy behind Eli Manning and David Carr. Still, Bomar could be a candidate for the practice squad this year, which means Woodson could be the No. 3/emergency QB. Still, neither QB has much Fantasy value this season, and both should be ignored in the majority of leagues.
