Broncos make cuts Saturday: According to The Rocky Mountain News, Denver has started making cuts to get down to the 53-player limit. Denver FB Cecil Sapp and WR Glenn Martinez were two of the more high-profile guys to be cut. Also released Saturday were QB Darrell Hackney, TEs Chad Mustard and Brett Pierce, DEs Paul Carrington and Larry Birdine and S Josh Barrett.

Sapp was waived injured with a hip flexor and started the team's final preseason game against the Cardinals. Both of these players are not recommended in Fantasy and should be ignored until further notice. As for the rest of the Broncos' cuts, they all should be avoided as well.
