DT Amobi Okoye, the most criticized player on the team last season, continues to improve. He's adjusted to what new defensive line coach Bill Kollar wants him to do, which is to get off the ball fast, shoot the gap, penetrate and be disruptive. At 22, Okoye is in his third season. He's not a good pass rusher and might not ever be. He has been playing the run well. He's usually good for at least one play behind the line of scrimmage. The coaches say because he's so young for a three-year veteran that he'll continue to get better. 10/27/2009
