OL Kirk Chambers is contention to start at left guard this season. The Bills have been left with a huge gap at left guard after releasing veteran Derrick Dockery, who played two just seasons on a seven-year, $49 million contract. Chambers, a fifth-year pro, has played right tackle, left tackle and right guard for the Bills. He recently re-signed as an unrestricted free agent. "Kirk was a good re-sign for us," coach Dick Jauron said. "He's played multiple positions. We'll see where it goes as we move along here." Second-year pro Demetrius Bell figures into the mix as well. Yeah, the Bills have Terrell Owens. But he won't do Buffalo much good if the offensive line can't protect Trent Edwards. After a few offseason shakeups, the Bills seem to have the five guys in place. Time will tell if they gel, Clark Judge says.
