Jets ready to let Cotchery shine: In an interview with CBSSports.com, Jets offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer made it crystal clear that Jerricho Cotchery is expected to take the mantle as the best receiver on the club. "Obviously Jerricho is our No. 1 receiver. We feel very good about that. We feel it's time for him to get that opportunity to showcase his skills," Schottenheimer said. "I think with Jerricho leading the troops ... we feel really good about where that position is moving into."

Cotchery's reception and yardage totals dipped in 2008 as he caught 71 passes for 858 yards (12.1 avg.) with five touchdowns (that's up from 2007). The potential is now there for Cotchery to get 80-to-90 catches with close to 1,000 yards and at least five scores. He's a quiet name on the Fantasy front, which means you'll be able to snare him with a pick starting in as late as Round 7 in 2009 drafts. And he'll start the year as a No. 3 Fantasy WR but has some really solid upside, especially in PPR leagues.
