  • Cutcliffe: Eli's arm 'tremendous': Duke football coach David Cutcliffe, who has worked with both Peyton and Eli Manning in the past, held a passing camp of sorts with the Manning brothers and their receivers recently in North Carolina. Cutcliffe told ESPN that he feels good about where Eli's arm is at following their latest session. "His arm was tremendous during this round," Cutcliffe said. "We do a lot of pure, solid, good old fashioned fundamental things that we have been doing with him since he has been coming to camp with me at Tennessee and at Ole Miss. I just have a good feeling about where he is right now. I thought he left here really on fire and I'm excited about seeing what is going to happen (this season)."

    Cutcliffe said he felt Manning struggled last season because of injuries to Hakeem Nicks and even hinted that Manning wasn't throwing at 100 percent last year (there were rumors of him having a tired arm). But it sounds like Manning is feeling better. However, the plethora of intriguing young quarterbacks have pushed Manning to No. 2 Fantasy quarterback status this summer -- someone's going to get a very good quarterback with a mid-round pick.
