Sanders resting for season: The Indianapolis Star reports Colts DB Bob Sanders isn't doing any on-field work with his teammates while he continues to recover from the physical demands of the 2008 season. "I feel good," Sanders said. "Basically that's all I'm going to say. My soul is good and I'm in good spirits. I'm doing all right." Sanders has missed 35 of a possible 80 regular-season games because of injury during his five-year career. He missed 10 games last season after undergoing surgery on his right knee.

Fantasy Analysis

This is a good sign that Sanders will not tax his body coming into the year. Hopefully he can be 100 percent because he is a solid DB in IDP leagues. And as Sanders goes so does the Colts DST. When he's on and healthy, the Colts DST could be considered a low-end No. 1 Fantasy option.

S Bob Sanders likes what he's seen of the way new defensive coordinator Larry Coyer is handling things so far. "We're excited to have him here. (He's added) a lot of different wrinkles for us. Good thing is he'll move us around a little bit more. We're excited. Everything has not been installed yet, but from what he said there's a lot of good things that we haven't done, which is good. It opens up everyone's game," Sanders said. "There are some things that we are doing a little bit different, (but) a lot of things are the same. The terminology has changed a little bit. I think once (training) camp comes around we'll know a little bit more on what I'll be doing and some of the other safeties." 62/5/2009
