| Scobee franchised and unhappy: The Florida Times-Union reports that the Jaguars have placed the franchise tag on kicker Josh Scobee, and that Scobee is unhappy with it. Per the paper, Scobee has no plans to sign the franchise tender, worth an estimated $2.6 million guaranteed. (Updated 03/05/2012) |

| Fantasy Analysis |
| Scobee hit 23 of 25 field goals (92 pct.) last year with five of six field goals from 50-plus yards. It was his best season since 2007, and in between those years he didn't make even 80 percent of his field goals. He also hasn't made more than the 23 field goals he hit in 2011 since 2006. Unless the Jaguars offense undergoes a facelift and gets some more firepower, Scobee's field goal attempts will be limited. The fact that he's unhappy with getting offered over $2 million guaranteed is another red flag. We wouldn't draft him. (Updated 03/05/2012). |
