Chris Snee will give it a shot this spring
by Dave Richard | Senior Fantasy Writer

Giants guard Chris Snee will attempt to go through the Giants offseason program once he's healthy, the New York Daily News reports. Snee had hip surgery last season and an elbow surgery earlier this year. There is no timeline for him to be at 100 percent but he is expected to be on the field for the "bulk" of offseason activities.

Chris Snee wants to play in 2014
by Larry Hartstein |

Four-time Pro Bowl guard Chris Snee, 31, said he wants to play next season if he feels his body can hold up and the Giants want him to fulfill the last year of his contract, reports the New York Post.

He was placed on IR in October and underwent surgery to repair a torn labrum and remove bone chips from his right hip. Then he underwent elbow surgery in November.

Snee told the paper his hip feels fine, but the elbow is coming along slower. “I’m recovering well,” he said. “It’s been a long road. Two surgeries is not something I want to do, particularly during the season. It’s been a difficult fall, winter, but the worst is behind me and I feel really good.”
