Redskins trim roster to 75: The Redskins have released LB Matt Sinclair and WR Burl Toler, the team announced on Monday, reports the team's official website. The roster is now at 75 and needs to be reduced to 53 by Aug. 30.

Sinclair, a second-year player, was in the midst of a promising preseason, but he suffered a back injury last week. He went to see a back specialist on Monday and it was determined that he could be sidelined for a significant amount of time. Sinclair was competing for a backup job at strong-side linebacker. He had 16 tackles in three preseason games before the injury. Toler, a first-year player, had one catch for nine yards in preseason play this year. Neither player was really expected to see the field during the regular season and doesn't have any Fantasy value remaining.
