Panthers WR Ted Ginn hauls in two TDs in win Sunday
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Carolina Panthers wide receiver Ted Ginn made the most of both of his receptions Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers , finishing with 18 yards and two touchdowns on three targets.

Ginn is known more as a deep threat, but he has had to take on a more diverse role in the absence of Kelvin Benjamin . Even though he had his lowest yardage output of the season, Ginn once again proved himself to be Carolina's top threat at the wide receiver position.

WR Ted Ginn emerging as reliable option for Panthers
by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com

Panthers wide receiver Ted Ginn nabbed four catches off of six targets for 93 yards in Sunday's win over the Saints.

When Kelvin Benjamin was lost for the season during training camp, the popular question in Carolina was who would pick up the slack. Through three weeks, the answer has been Ginn. He ranks second on the team behind Greg Olsen with 10 catches and 188 receiving yards. His 22 targets also rank second on the team and are double that of the team's third-most-targeted option, Devin Funchess.

Ginn carries the burden of being considered a draft bust, but he has seems to have found a niche in Carolina.

by Rotowire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
Panthers wide receiver Ted Ginn caught four of his nine targets for 41 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's game against the Texans. He also racked up 44 yards on four punt returns in the 24-17 win.
While he is primarily a deep threat, Ginn has now been targeted 16 times through two weeks and actually leads the team with 95 receiving yards. The speedster is not a reliable fantasy contributor at the moment due to the inconsistency of the Carolina passing attack, although a few big games could be in the cards if he continues to see targets at this rate. The Panthers will welcome the struggling Saints to town in Week 3.

Rivera: Ted Ginn, Corey Brown will be Panthers starting WRs in Week 1
by Michael Hurcomb | CBSSports.com

Ted Ginn and Corey Brown will start at wide receiver for the Panthers in Week 1 against the Jaguars, coach Ron Rivera announced Monday.

Ginn has not started a game at wide receiver since 2013 when he played his only season with the Panthers. In 2013, he totaled 36 catches for 556 yards and five touchdowns in 16 games (two starts). He spent the 2014 season in Arizona, totaling 14 catches for 190 yards and no touchdowns.

"I thought Teddy Ginn had a really nice training camp, did some really nice things," Rivera said, per the team's official website. "He played the role that we're looking for him to play for us."

Brown started three games as a rookie for Carolina in 2014. He totaled 21 catches for 296 yards and two touchdowns in 13 games.

"Corey knows all three positions, and then the one thing you talk about is Corey's speed," Rivera said. "Now he's got to go out and perform, but that's the bottom line. You have to be productive, and you can't miss opportunities."
