Hart does well in rehab: The Indianapolis Star reports Colts RB Mike Hart is ready to return from last year's knee injury. "I'm doing everything -- run around, cut," Hart said. "This is the time you feel like you want to do more, but you have to limit yourself because you can still develop things like tendinitis if you try to rush it too fast." Hart, a sixth-round pick in 2008, damaged the ACL in his right knee Oct. 12 against Baltimore. "The full-speed stuff I stay out of because you won't want to get tangled up and I don't want to do too much right now," he said. "Oh, yeah, I'll be ready to go, full go."

It sounds like Hart should be ready for training camp, but his role will be limited behind Joseph Addai and Donald Brown. Keep an eye on how Hart does because if he gets carries he could be worth adding off the waiver wire.

RB Mike Hart and CB Marlin Jackson both missed most of the 2008 season with knee injuries. Despite surgical procedures (for Jackson meniscus and anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee and knee surgery for Hart), they are ahead of schedule in terms of the rehabilitation process. "I'm ready to go, full go," Hart said recently. "That's what you put yourself on schedule for and as long as there's no setbacks. I know that I can play right now, pretty much. I can do everything right now. (Training) camp, there's no question. That's two more months away." If they were able to get extended work during the Colts' organized team activities and minicamp, as well as in training camp later this summer, that would be a definite plus. It would mark a seven-month recovery period for a pair of knee injuries that usually take about a year to fully rehab. "We had good surgeons," Hart joked. "It's just going to mean a lot of hard work. We've got a great staff in our training room that's going to help get us prepared to do something like that." 52/8/2009
