Johnathan Joseph underwent arthroscopic knee surgery during the offseason, but running is a part of his regimen as of May 10, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Aside from an ankle injury that contained him to eight games in 2008, Joseph has appeared in 135 of a possible 144 contests. Along the way, he's picked off 26 passes, returned five of those for touchdowns, and earned Pro Bowl bids in both 2011 and 2012. With plenty of time to achieve full health in advance of the upcoming campaign, he's poised to serve as one of the Houston Texans ' starting cornerbacks for the sixth year in a row.
Johnathan Joseph (knee) is active Sunday against the Bills.
After putting in full practices on Thursday and Friday, Joseph will be in the lineup at right cornerback. Despite being arguably the Houston Texans best cornerback, he's only recorded a single interception this season. This week he'll look to contain Sammy Watkins and the Bills receiving corps.

Joseph injured his knee during Week 11's win over the Jets, but we also learned Wednesday that he has a wrist injury.
Joseph was able to finish the game, in which he recorded two tackles and two passes defensed. We'll need to see if the knee flares up during the practice week as the
