| Foster: Money won't change me: Speaking at a press conference announcing his contract extension Tuesday, Texans running back Arian Foster promised that the guaranteed money he was going to get won't change how he prepares or how he plays. "I have a huge obligation to my teammates and coaches, the organization and the fans who have supported me," he said. "I'm excited and grateful, but it's not going to affect the way I approach the game. I go into every season feeling like I have something to prove. What happened last season doesn't matter, but I will admit this takes the pressure off." (Updated 03/07/2012) |

| There will still be plenty of pressure on Foster, despite what he says. There are high expectations for the Texans, and if Foster stumbles the Texans have a good young back behind him in Ben Tate. So while there is some concern about running backs slowing down after getting paid (like Chris Johnson last year), Foster still has plenty to play for and is one of the rare backs who contributes so much to his team's offense. We see Foster as the consensus No. 1 overall pick in drafts this season, though we'd definitely handcuff him to Ben Tate (who can be picked in Round 8). Expect another 1,500-total-yard, 10-plus-touchdown season from Foster. (Updated 03/07/2012). |
