Hill, Seahawks come to agreement: The Seattle Seahawks and starting OLB Leroy Hill have reached agreement on six-year contract worth a guaranteed $15.5 million. The deal could potentially be worth $38 million. Hill became a free agent last weekend after the team dropped its franchise tag on him and Hill refused to sign an $8.3 million tender offer. Hill and the Seahawks were held up for days over contract language provisions related to any possible league discipline Hill may face from an offseason arrest in January in Georgia for misdemeanor marijuana possession.

LB Leroy Hill could be in minicamp by the end of the weekend according to coach Jim Mora. "We believe we made the right decision," Mora said about the team rescinding the franchise tag. "Sure it was a risky decision. A very risky decision. ... If for some reason Leroy decides to go somewhere else then we're open to criticism. We probably deserve it. But my belief in talking to Leroy as much as I have is that he'll be wearing a Seattle Seahawk uniform next year. I feel very confident of that."
