Feb. 10, 2012 7:07 p.m. - by John Kreger - Fan indicted on bomb-threat charges Jackson, Mich. resident Shawn Payton was indicted by a federal grand jury Friday on charges he phoned bomb threats to Mercedes-Benz Superdome officials during Detroit’s playoff loss to the Saints. Payton has admitted making the calls. The charges carry a maximum prison sentence of five years, and a maximum $250,000 fine.
