NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Tennessee Titans cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones witnessed but wasn't involved in a shooting at a Las Vegas strip club that injured three, his lawyer said.

Jones, who has faced charges in other nightclub arrests in Tennessee, was only a witness to the triple shooting early Monday that left two critically wounded, attorney Worrick Robinson said Tuesday.
Robinson said Jones was in Las Vegas to attend the NBA All-Star game over the weekend and was invited to the Minxx Gentleman's Club, where the shooting occurred in the parking lot as Jones was leaving.
Jones was interviewed by local authorities as a witness, not as a suspect, Robinson said. Jones did not know anyone involved in the shooting, he said.
"He is cooperating with authorities, and he is free to return to Nashville," Robinson said. Full story
Career over for Browns' Bentley?
BEREA, Ohio -- Browns center LeCharles Bentley will likely undergo more surgery on a serious knee injury that cost him last season, is jeopardizing another and could end his NFL career.
Cleveland general manager Phil Savage said that Bentley is considering a third operation to repair the left patellar tendon he tore on the first full-contact play of training camp last summer.
"If he does elect to have the surgery, then obviously he won't be here for 2007 as an active player," said Savage, adding "it's more likely he will have surgery."
A two-time Pro Bowl selection in New Orleans, Bentley signed a six-year, $36 million free agent contract in March to play for the Browns, his hometown team. But he had his first season in Cleveland end freakishly.
Cowboys C Gurode signs six-year deal
IRVING, Texas -- Center Andre Gurode has signed a new six-year contract that will prevent him from becoming an unrestricted free agent.
Gurode was a second round draft choice of the Cowboys in 2002. He was named as a Pro Bowl replacement following last season.
Ex-NFL QB McMahon to play in CFL
TORONTO -- Former NFL quarterback Mike McMahon signed with the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League.
The 28-year-old McMahon played 29 games in five NFL seasons, starting 14 of them. A fifth round draft pick in 2001 by the Lions, McMahon spent four seasons in Detroit before signing with Philadelphia before the 2005 season.
He started the final seven games for the Eagles in 2005 after Donovan McNabb suffered a season-ending injury. The Eagles went 2-5 with McMahon behind center. McMahon is a career 44.5 percent passer with 15 touchdowns and 21 interceptions.
A four-year starter at Rutgers, McMahon set several school records and was second all-time with 41 touchdown passes and 6,608 yards when he graduated. After being released by the Eagles in March 2006, McMahon was signed by the Minnesota Vikings but was cut last September.
