Redskins' Thrash takes Moss' spot in lineup against Eagles

LANDOVER, Md. -- Wide receiver Santana Moss missed the Washington Redskins' game against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday because of a bruised heel.

Moss, who has 24 catches for 297 yards, was expected to be replaced by James Thrash in the lineup. Thrash has three catches for 16 yards this season.

Another Redskins wideout, Antwaan Randle El, was active for the game despite a nagging hamstring injury.

But linebacker Marcus Washington, who also has a hamstring injury, was inactive for the Redskins, meaning he'll have been out for four of the past five games.

The Redskins are the only team in the NFL without a touchdown pass to a wide receiver this season, and Moss and Randle El are the only wideouts who have been somewhat productive.

Moss has struggled since missing the Oct. 7 game against Detroit with a groin injury, with only 12 catches for 98 yards over the previous four games.

Eagles running back Correll Buckhalter was inactive with what the team would only say was an illness. He's second on Philadelphia with 40 carries for 193 yards rushing.
