Week 15 Judgements: Chargers in AFC title game? Not shocking
14. I'll say it again: Green Bay's Greg Jennings is one of the least appreciated receivers in the game. So he doesn't lead the Packers in catches. Only three receivers in the NFL have more touchdowns, and Jennings has scored in all but two games. When I want a big play, I dial No. 85.
15. Count me out when critics question Baltimore's decision to go for the game-tying field goal instead of a touchdown at the end of the fourth quarter. The Ravens decided to take their chances in OT because they thought they could win there. And they should have. That decision didn't cost the Ravens; Matt Stover's miss did.
Just asking ....
• What could've convinced Donovan McNabb and Terrell Owens to reconcile?
• Hey, where did all those Heinz Field fans go in the fourth quarter?
• Any chance Emmitt Thomas wants to quit now?
• Why did we have to catch Greg Camarillo's touchdown on replay coming out of commercial?
• Who was more upset -- the Cowboys or Brian Westbrook's Fantasy-football owners?
Five things I like
1. Bill Belichick and Eric Mangini shaking hands again.
2. Troy Aikman's explanation for the sudden interest by high-profile celebs (Jessica Simpson) in Dallas quarterback Tony Romo: "You get a whole lot better looking when you start winning football games."
3. Cleveland's chances to win the AFC North. The reason: Pittsburgh's last two games are on the road, where the Steelers are 3-3.
4.Oakland's goal-line defense. The Raiders stuffed Indy four times at the 1 to make things interesting.
5. Fred Taylor's chances to make the Pro Bowl. Now I see why the guy voted 10 times for himself.
Five things I don't
1. All but the last two minutes of the Seattle-Carolina game.
2. The Steelers' run defense without Aaron Smith. Until Sunday only two backs in 63 games produced 100-yard games vs. the Steelers. Then Smith bowed out, Taylor shredded them for 147 and the Jags totaled 224. Uh-oh.
3. Brett Favre having to set league records on the road.
4. Jay Feely's out-of-bounds kickoff after putting Miami ahead with less than two minutes to go. If there's one thing you don't do, it's give your opponent the ball at the 40. Feely might've been the most relieved guy out there when the Dolphins won.
5. The Giants in the playoffs. They can't catch. Their quarterback is under fire. They stink at home. And they just lost Jeremy Shockey. Bottom line: They're in trouble.
My top five
1. New England
2. Indianapolis
3. Green Bay
4. Dallas
5. Jacksonville
My bottom five
32. Miami
31. Atlanta
30. N.Y. Jets
29. St. Louis
28. Baltimore
