Jets stay busy by signing linebacker Calvin Pace and offensive lineman Damien Woody

NEW YORK (AP) -The New York Jets have signed linebacker Calvin Pace and offensive lineman Damien Woody, continuing the team's busy free-agency period.

Pace was the Arizona Cardinals' first-round pick in 2003. He has underperformed for most of his five seasons with Arizona, but is coming off his best year.

Pace had 98 tackles, 6 1/2 sacks and an interception after moving from defensive to linebacker full-time.

Woody is also a former first-rounder. After starting his career with New England in 1999, he spent the last four seasons with Detroit.
