Key NFL players with injuries

NEW YORK (AP) -Several prominent NFL players won't be around for Week 2 of the NFL season. Some, such as Tom Brady and Shawne Merriman, are finished for the season because of injuries.

A look at some of those missing in action:

- Tom Brady, QB, New England, knee, out for season.

- Shawne Merriman, LB, San Diego, knee, out for season.

- Vince Young, QB, Tennessee, knee, status undetermined.

- Jeff Garcia, QB, Tampa Bay, ankle, week to week.

- Marques Colston, WR, New Orleans, thumb, four to six weeks.

- Derrick Brooks, LB, Tampa Bay, hamstring, week to week.

- Jeff Saturday, C, Indianapolis, knee, week to week.

- Osi Umenyiora, DE, New York Giants, knee, out for season.

- Angelo Crowell, LB, Buffalo, knee, out for season.

- Brodie Croyle, QB, Kansas City, shoulder, status undetermined.

- Maurice Williams, G, Jacksonville, biceps, out for season.
