Texans QB Schaub out sick, Rosenfels to start vs. Colts

HOUSTON -- Houston Texans' quarterback Matt Schaub won't start Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts after spending a night in the hospital with a virus that required intravenous fluids.

Sage Rosenfels will start even though Schaub was out of the hospital and active for the game.

The Texans will also be without their two starting safeties. Will Demps was inactive with a hamstring injury and C.C. Brown is out for the season after being placed in injured reserve on Monday. Brandon Harrison will get his first NFL start in place of Demps.

Mike Pollak was scheduled to start at right guard for Indianapolis after sitting out since surgery on his right knee in August. Left tackle Tony Ugoh remained out of the starting lineup with a groin injury.
