Jackson returns to Rams lineup; Cardinals without three

ST. LOUIS -- St. Louis Rams running back Steven Jackson was active for Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals after missing a week with a thigh injury, though he did not start.

Antonio Pittman had a 9-yard carry on St. Louis' first possession, starting from the 1 after a goal-line stand. Jackson entered the game on the second play.

Defensive end Leonard Little and defensive tackle Adam Carriker, who like Jackson had been listed as questionable, also were activated.

Wide receiver Early Doucet (groin), defensive end Travis LaBoy (groin) and tight end Ben Patrick (knee) were inactive for the Cardinals.

Rams cornerback Tye Hill, recovering from knee surgery, was inactive for the fourth straight game.
