Bucs sign Buie, claim Compas off waivers

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) -The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have re-signed defensive end Jarriett Buie and claimed center Jonathan Compas off waivers.

To make room on the roster Tuesday, defensive back Marshall McDuffie and guard Ryan Schmidt were waived.

Buie joined the Bucs as an undrafted free agent in May and was released last week. Compas was in training camp with the Oakland Raiders before being waived on Monday.
